Jinike AI, LLC ("Jinike," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Jinike AI platform at jinike.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using Jinike AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our identity provider (Clerk).
Connected Services: When you connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Slack, we access your data from those services solely to provide Jinike AI's functionality. This includes email messages, calendar events, and Slack messages. We access only what is needed to fulfill your requests.
Conversation Data: We store your conversations with Jinike AI to provide memory and context across sessions. This includes messages you send and responses generated by the system.
Task Data: Tasks you create, including titles, descriptions, priorities, and due dates, are stored in our database.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide, operate, and maintain Jinike AI services
• Read and summarize your emails and calendar events when you ask
• Draft and send emails on your behalf with your approval
• Create and manage calendar events
• Track and manage your tasks
• Read and post Slack messages on your behalf
• Generate personalized daily briefings
• Improve and personalize your experience through memory
• Process your subscription payments
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Vercel and Neon (PostgreSQL). OAuth tokens for connected services (Gmail, Outlook, Slack) are encrypted and stored in our database. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Our Hallucination Defense System (HDS) processes responses to verify accuracy and reduce errors. This processing occurs in real-time and does not store additional copies of your data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
• Service Providers: We use third-party services (Anthropic for AI, Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database) that process data on our behalf.
• Connected Services: When you authorize Jinike AI to access Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, or Slack, data flows between Jinike and those services to fulfill your requests.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.
6. Your Data Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect any connected service at any time through the dashboard
• Export your data upon request
• Cancel your subscription at any time

7. AI and Data Processing
Jinike AI uses Anthropic's Claude API to process your requests. When you interact with Jinike, your messages and relevant context (emails, calendar events, tasks) are sent to the AI model to generate responses.
Your data is not used to train AI models. Anthropic's API usage policy prohibits using API inputs and outputs for model training.
Our patent-pending Hallucination Defense System adds verification layers to AI responses to reduce errors and improve reliability.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that track you across websites.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, conversation history, tasks, and stored OAuth tokens within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days.
10. Children's Privacy
Jinike AI is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
